The tree was cut down, but its life force remained.

One more shot. It's hard to look away.

And here's a tree in Bemowo near Górczewska Street. Unlike the previous photo, this one was broken by the wind. The broken branch was removed, but the trunk was left standing. And here's the result: it's growing back and looking lush—at least until some official decides it should be removed.

And this is the tree I saw today while walking near Długa Street. I was walking towards Spacerowa Street.

And before Spacerowa Street, I couldn't resist turning into Promenady Street and taking the photos below.

I literally had to force myself to leave the Park (which one? - who can guess?)
